THEREAS there was this day read at the Board a Report from the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council dated the 30th day of May 1913 in the words following viz. :-

WHEREAS by virtue of His late Majesty King Edward the Seventh's Order in Council of the 18th day of October 1909 there was referred unto this Committee a humble Petition of Ibrahim in the matter of an Appeal from the Supreme Court of Hongkong between the Petitioner Appellant and Your Majesty Respondent setting forth (amongst other things) that on the 21st October 1912 an Indictment was preferred by the Attorney-General of the said Colony against the Petitioner charging that on the 4th September 1912 at Canton in China feloniously wilfully and of his malice aforethought he did kill and murder one Ali Shafa: that the Petitioner was tried in the said Supreme Court but the jury failed to agree and were discharged: that the Petitioner was again tried upon the said charge before the Chief Justice and a jury and on the 22nd November 1912 the jury returned a verdict of guilty against the Petitioner: that at the trial evidence was adduced to prove the following (a) the commission of the alleged offences charged in the Indictment (b) the China and Corea
